After many months/years waiting for my citizenship paperwork, it has finally come from our friendly fed-ex delivery guys today. Although the certificate is a little weak looking, it is the document itself that really matters. I have to admit, I was kinda expecting some fancy Birth Certificate style document, but instead I got something that resembles more of a receipt, and a letter of official entry. My mom got all of us kids (Karmen, Kelsey, and Kourtney) started on the process a couple years ago, and she is great for doing all the hard work with obtaining birth records that date pretty far back in my family. I was able to get my dual citizenship through decent and now, I have dual citizenship with US and Ireland, and Viri has dual citizenship through US and Mexico. So, now we have to plan on where we want our first vacation home. :) While I work on my Spanish, the girls are all working on their Irish accent, which is funnier than me trying to speak Spanish.
